Our Staff
Jake Valley is a native to the northwest, and has
lived in Portland for 27 years. He has been working in
the solid surface trade for several years prior to
becoming a SolidCraft partner. When he is not
fabricating and installing, he is likely playing music
with friends and relaxing with his dog Ember. Jake also
likes to go camping and fishing when he can. He enjoys
being a part of the green movement that is in full swing
in the Northwest.
Ted Dehnke expertly crafts sustainable counter
tops for SolidCraft. He is excited to be a member of a
worker-owned and operated venture, and believes that
sustainable businesses can strengthen local economies
and ecologies alike. Ted has a diverse background in
construction, but has found great satisfaction working
with sustainable materials. He's a proud father to Kyen,
his 2 year old son.
Britta Simonson is SolidCraft's administrative
member and estimator. She was born and raised in rural
Minnesota, and still holds a deep appreciation for the
wilderness. She now happily calls North Portland home.
Britta is actively working toward making Portland a more
sustainable place - one counter top at a time. Britta is
inspired daily by the incredible work being done in the
green building sector and is proud to be a part of such
a motivated and dedicated community. |
